Aston Martins is set to reveal its latest return from the Vanquish one day. After being treated to a sound check of the new engine, we have three more teases to get us through the day. Starting at the front, we expect a familiar grille of horizontal stripes over a wide intake. However, spy photos reveal a grille that looks like a taller and less contoured version of the one on the DB12which spreads out at the edges to a wider base rather than cutting inward at the headlights to a narrower leading edge. This could be a move towards a family face, or a measure of the V12’s massive air needs. Looking back from there, a frame in the teaser clip reveals triangular intakes behind the front wheels, larger than the trim cuts in the fenders on the DBS and likely remove more air from the engine compartment.

Keep in mind, the V12’s displacement hasn’t been confirmed, but output is estimated at 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. Those are big jumps from the 760 hp and 664 lb-ft of the limited-edition DBS 770 Ultimate, and on par with the 819 hp and 500 lb-ft of the 2025 Ferrari 12Cylinderand the 771 hp and 738 lb-ft in the 2025 Bentley Continental GT hybrid. We’re guessing this will come from the same 6.5-liters as before, or something a few tenths less, as Aston has described the engine as “a completely new design.” Improvements around the factory include a strengthened block, stronger connecting rods, a new head, new intake and exhaust ports, re-profiled camshafts, high-flow injectors and repositioned spark plugsIt is fed by more efficient turbochargers that are said to deliver improved throttle response.

The other two teasers give a peek into the back. A carbon fiber centerpiece carries Aston Martin lettering. On the corners, seven stacked LEDs On each side, a pair of pillar-style taillights form a design we’ve not seen before on a recent vehicle, and they illuminate in sequence from bottom to top. It also appears that a full-width light bar connects the upper pair of taillight elements over the back of an integrated Kamm tail, with the tail being a more sculpted version of the rear of the Aston Martin Valour.

The whole event will be shown on camera on September 2.
