Samsung is working on the Milky Way M05who first appeared next to the F05 back in July. Now, the M05 support page has gone live on Samsung USA’s website. This usually means that the official launch will happen within a couple of weeks.

The listing on the support page unfortunately doesn’t reveal any specifications of the handset, only the model number SM-M055F/DS. The M05 was also recently certified for sale in USA by BIS.

Samsung Galaxy M05 moves one step closer to launch

The Galaxy M05 will be the successor to the Milky Way M04 starting in 2022, and like that model, it’ll sit towards the bottom of Samsung’s portfolio. To get an idea of just how low we’re talking, consider that the M04 came with a 6.5-inch 720×1600 60Hz LCD touchscreen, the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, a 13MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor alongside it, a 5MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging.
