The upcoming Huawei Watch GT 5 is set to hit the market in a few days, on September 19. However, a revealing leak has already surfaced, revealing the design of the watch, along with some general specs and information.
Huawei Watch GT 5 46mm
The official looking renders show a familiar design for both the 41mm and 46mm sizes, with both variants looking very similar to their predecessors and reportedly adopting the same build. We have a metal bezel, stainless steel case, and 5ATM water resistance. The rotating crown and programmable button next to it are here to stay.
There aren’t many changes to the hardware either. The 41mm option will continue to have a 1.32″ OLED display, while the 46mm variant gets a 1.43″ display. Huawei is also promising between 7 and 14 days of battery life, indicating that there’s no upgrade there either.
It looks like the only major upgrade in this year’s Watch GT 5 series is the TruSense System for health and fitness tracking. It was introduced in late August, showing off a range of new features and advanced tracking.
Now all that remains is pricing and availability, so stay tuned to the Huawei Watch GT 5 event next week.
