The vivo X200 series is launched October 14 in China and the teaser campaign is in full swing. The latest additions include images of the front of the X200 next to last year’s X100, as well as some camera samples of the main and periscope lenses.
The latest images come from vivo’s product manager Han Boxiao and we can see the big design change compared to the outgoing X100. The upcoming device has a flat frame with a polished aluminum look. The screen has lost its curves and is also flat with a single cutout on the front for the selfie camera. We can also notice thinner bezels around the panel.
The following are a few photo samples of the 23mm equivalent main sensor, said to be the Sony IMX921, and the periscope module said to be a 70mm Sony IMX882. Both sensors are 50MP and we can see that the second photo demonstrates the impressive telephoto macro capabilities of the periscope zoom lens.

In related news, vivo also announced that it will be holding its vivo Developer conference on October 10. The event marks the launch of OriginOS 5, which debuts on the X200 series. In a more interesting development, vivo will also offer a “Virtual Graphics Card 2.0” on the X200 series.
The accompanying message suggests that this will offer improved touch feedback and optimizations for gaming and video calling
