Apple launched iOS 18 last month without the core set of features called Apple Intelligence. So now we’re still waiting iOS 18.1where the first wave of Apple Intelligence stuff will finally make its debut – although far from everything Apple revealed it back in June at its developer conference. Many functions will be postponed to 2025for what it’s worth.

Still, it’ll be pretty exciting when the first few Apple Intelligence tidbits arrive, and according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, that will happen on October 28, when iOS 18.1 releases (presumably along with iPadOS 18.1).

Apple Intelligence could finally arrive on October 28, new hardware on November 1

Gurman says Apple is taking its time with the rollout to ensure major bugs are eliminated and that it can support all new traffic on its AI cloud servers. Apple knows that anyone with a compatible device will immediately start testing the new features, and the spotlight will be on their delivery, so hopefully all goes well.

Rumor has it that Apple will release a cheap 14-inch MacBook Pro on November 1 M4 chiphigh-end 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros with M4 chips, a new Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chips, a new iMac with an M4 chip and a new iPad mini. The announcement for all these devices should come a few days earlier, at the end of October.

Then, in the first half of 2025, Apple will release 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M4 chips, the new iPhone SE, updated 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models with new Magic Keyboards, and an improved AirTag.
