In January, Samsung launched Google’s Circle to Search feature on its phone Galaxy S24 familyand then Google also brought it to its Pixels. Fast forward a few months, and we’re finally starting to see this feature escape the shackles of Google and Samsung exclusivity.

Today, Honor announced that it is bringing Circle to Search to the Magic V3 and the 200 series. Circle to Search, as the name suggests, allows you to find more information about anything you circle, highlight, or scribble on your phone’s screen.

Honor Magic V3 and Honor 200 series now have Circle to Search

The rollout appears to have already started. You will need to install a software update for the feature to work on your Honor device.

George Zhao, CEO of Honor, said:

Advancements in AI are transforming the way we work, learn, shop, create and interact with our devices. Whether you need translation help, homework help, or just want to learn more about an image that caught your attention on social media, our smartphones have become our favorite source for finding this information. As a human-centric technology brand, Honor strives to bring the benefits of AI to everyone. Thanks to our close industry partnership with Google and by introducing this feature to not one, but two of our popular smartphone lines, it is now possible to unlock a world of information at your fingertips, offering a whole new level of convenience in people’s daily lives.
