Samsung’s chipset choice for the upcoming Galaxy S25 family is proving to be a very hot topic in rumors these days. We recently heard that Exynos 2500 yields are low enough for Samsung all-Snapdragon SoCs for the Galaxy S25 family, but then we’ve also heard that the just unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9400 was also on the cards.

Today, a new rumor claims that only the Galaxy S25 FE will use the Dimensity chip, although there have been negotiations between Samsung and MediaTek over the entire S25 family. And yet, the S25, S25+And S25 Ultra Once again, they’re all said to go with the Snapdragon chip, leaving the FE model likely to remain the Dimensity 9400 unless Samsung cheapens out and opts for an older and more affordable SoC from the Taiwanese company.

So if this is true, then the Exynos 2500 could still appearbut in the next Galaxy Z Fold and Flip devices launching next summer, as Samsung will hopefully have ironed out the yield issues by then.
