Apple has announced additional features for its Business Connect program, giving businesses more control over how they appear to customers across the Apple ecosystem. The big new addition is Business Caller ID, which will be live from next year and will allow businesses to display their name, logo and department when contacting customers. This allows users to distinguish genuine calls and emails from spam.

The new addition will also appear consistently on Apple Maps, Wallet, and Mail for businesses and service providers of all sizes, whether they are online-only or have a physical store presence. Business Connect also allows businesses to customize their logo in Tap to Pay on iPhone, which appears to customers when they make a purchase.
