We’ve heard rumors back and forth about using Samsung only Snapdragon chips for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series or including the Exynos 2500 SoC in the mix. But the latest Geekbench score sheet shows the Galaxy S25+ running on the Exynos 2500, which essentially confirms the previous schedule: some markets will get the Exynos-powered versions, like the European market, and others will receive the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Geekbench 6 score sheet: Galaxy S25+ with Exynos 2500 SoC
There were even rumors about it Samsung is having a hard time with the Exynos 2500 yield, but it seems that the situation is not so bad. The scoresheet showing the Galaxy S25+ on the unreleased Exynos 2500 is solid evidence that some markets will get the Exynos treatment.
We also get to see the CPU configuration: a 10-core CPU with the main core running at 3.3 GHz, coupled with two powerful cores at 2.75 GHz and five more at 2.36 GHz. There are only two energy-efficient cores running at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is Xclipse 950, powered by AMD’s RDNA architecture.
As for the scores, we recommend that you don’t read too much into them. This is clearly a pre-production sample, so comparisons to the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips are meaningless at this point.
