OnePlus only very recently launched the public open beta for OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 for the OnePlus 12and today it is already releasing the latest stable version. That’s certainly a quick turnaround.
The update is now rolling out globally, a week earlier than initially planned. The new build for Indian models is CPH2573_15.0.0.206(EX01), for North American devices it is CPH2583_15.0.0.205(EX01), and for devices sold in Europe and elsewhere it is CPH2581_15.0.0.204( EX01). As usual with such releases, the update will be released in batches throughout the week.

We mention a new graphics engine for the system that powers rendering and animation and ensures smooth, uninterrupted visuals even under pressure, system-wide swipe consistency extended to third-party apps for a unified scrolling experience, a redesigned home screen with new icons, new themes, new floating window gestures, resizable Split View windows, separate Quick Settings and notification drawer, redesigned Quick Settings and new wallpapers.
You may have noticed that there is no mention of AI features. Don’t worry, because they’re coming, but OnePlus says that to “deliver the signature fast and smooth OnePlus experience, AI-related features are still being tested and will be gradually integrated into future versions by the end of this month” . So basically the company wanted to get this out as quickly as possible, but that meant it wasn’t able to properly test all the AI stuff in time. So the AI stuff will come via an additional update or two.
