Google’s Pixel tablet is starting to be a bit of a stretch considering it launched last June without yet a successor. But don’t worry, because Google is actually working on the Pixel Tablet 2, and according to a new rumor, it will come with a keyboard case. It’s unclear whether this will be bundled with the tablet or offered as a separate purchase.
The upcoming tablet will also have newer and better cameras, compared to those of the original Pixel Tablet.
The Pixel Tablet 2 will also be powered by a newer SoC compared to the Tensor G2 in the original, which is of course nothing surprising. Whether it is the Tensor G4 that is in the Pixel 9 family Whether the Tensor G5 comes next year will likely depend on when exactly it launches. It is said to be many months away from release.
With the new chip, the tablet will receive seven years of updates and support for display output. The overall design of the new device won’t change much compared to its predecessor, but it could come with smaller bezels and the buttons could move a bit.
