The vivo Y28s 5G what we’ve been hearing about for a few weeks is now official. The smartphone is built around a 6.56″ HD+ 90Hz LCD display with a brightness of 840 nits and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
On the back we have a dual camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary and a 2MP unit. However, Vivo hasn’t revealed whether the 2MP unit is a depth or macro camera.
The vivo Y28s 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC, boots the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 and has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Fueling the entire package is a 5,000mAh battery that can charge up to 15W. Other highlights of the vivo Y28s 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating, and NFC (Saudi Arabia only , UAE, Taiwan and Europe).
The vivo Y28s 5G will be available in Mocha Brown and Twinkling Purple color options, but pricing and availability are yet to be detailed.
