Samsung’s new foldable phones are available to pre-order now, with a launch date of July 19. Amazon has some interesting bundles – for example, you can get the Galaxy Z Fold6 (256GB) bundled with the Galaxy Watch Ultra for £2,160. Given that the phone’s normal price is £1,800, this gets you the flagship watch for £360 – down from the usual £600 price tag.

Another interesting pairing is the Z Fold6 with the Galaxy Buds3 – somehow this costs £1,763, which is less than the price of the phone on its own. If you prefer the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, that bundle costs £1,817.

You can also buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 (256GB) with a Galaxy Watch7 (40mm) for £1,205. That’s £155 for the watch, which normally costs £290. Or you can buy the Buds3 for just £38 more than the Z Flip on its own, with the Buds3 Pro pairing costing £92 more.

The CMF Phone 1 from Nothing is one of the most impressive sub-£200 phones we’ve tested so far. It has a unique, practical design, a brilliant screen and battery, a fast chipset and a good camera. It’s the only rear-facing camera, but it’s a good one (even without OIS). The lack of NFC, stereo speakers and better than IP52 resistance leaves something to be desired, but then again, you can have it for just £180.

The Nothing Phone (2a), the parent brand’s flagship budget phone, is £120 more expensive. Granted, it has OIS on the main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide and NFC. Plus, its chipset is marginally faster (but only marginally) and its water resistance is IP54. The 2a is certainly the better phone, but is it £120 better?

The OnePlus CE4 Lite is now £250 cheaper, but its ageing Snapdragon 695 is no match for the CMF Phone 1’s Dimensity 7300. The CE4 Lite also lacks an ultra-wide camera, but at least it has OIS on the main camera. Its 5,110mAh battery is also a lot faster with 80W charging (vs the 5,000mAh 33W on the CMF). Oh, and the OnePlus has stereo speakers and an IP54 rating.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 is a bit pricey right now, we’d wait for a better discount. But for comparison: the Exynos 1380 is similar to the Dimensity and you get superior IP67 dust and water resistance. The 50MP main camera has OIS and the 8MP ultra-wide is better than nothing. You might miss the 3.5mm headphone jack though.

The Google Pixel 8a is also too pricey, but discounts are coming. Its Tensor G3 chipset hands down outperforms the Dimensity, and you get an IP67 rating like on the Galaxy. This one even has wireless charging for its 4,492mAh battery (only 7.5W, but still). The 64MP OIS camera enjoys Google Cam magic, and there’s a 13MP ultra-wide. No microSD slot on this one, and no 3.5mm headphone jack either.
