First introduced in 2023, the Circle to Search feature allows you to circle anything on your screen and perform a visual search using Google’s search engine and Google Lens. Since its introduction, the functionality has only been available on select Samsung devices and Google Pixel phonesbut that is about to change.
Tecno has reportedly confirmed to a number of reviewers that its recently announced foldable Tecno V Fold 2 will be getting the Circle to Search feature sometime next month. This in turn means that Google plans to roll out the currently Pixel and Samsung-exclusive feature to other phones as well.
While this isn’t an official confirmation from Google, it’s pretty close. And the good news is that the rollout will likely begin in October.
