USA has proven to be one of the toughest markets in the world for Apple to crack, but business is finally picking up. Annual sales of Apple products have reached a new high in USA, reports BloombergAccording to a source who asked not to be identified because the information is not public, the company saw revenue growth of 33%, from $6 billion to $8 billion.

Bloomberg added that the increase is a sign of steady progress in Apple’s efforts to impress customers in the most populous country, where consumers are gradually gaining more purchasing power. The market is still mainly dominated by Chinese brands and Samsung, and only 3.5% of the total 690 million smartphones are iPhones.

The Indian market is one of Apple’s fastest growing markets, but sales in the Asian country still account for about 2% of the company’s total, which equates to around $383 billion. Apple CEO Tim Cook has been working to improve these numbers, as we saw the first two Apple Stores open in USA.

Tim Cook and his team have also moved some of the production of the latest iPhones to USA. Currently, the iPhone 15 is being produced at the factory in Tamil Nadubut the Pro and Pro Max models are still imported and subject to higher tariffs.
