OpenAI has announced that it will be rolling out Advanced Voice Mode to ChatGPT Plus users. The new service offers more natural conversations, with room for interruptions and emotional responses.
Qualifying users will receive an email with instructions on how to use the feature on the website and mobile apps. Everyone on Plus will get access to the enhanced voice mode this fall, as the feature is delivered on an ongoing basis.

Advanced Voice Mode comes with four preset voices developed by OpenAI in collaboration with voice actors, which should make the service safer and more enjoyable for everyone, the company says.
When we combine this with reading voice emotions, we might be looking at the best voice chat service when it comes to realism and natural feeling, something that most AI tools to date cannot achieve.
ChatGPT Plus is much smarter with its access to the GPT-4 large language model. The tier also offers file uploads, vision and web browsing, and DALL-E image generation. The service costs $20/month before taxes.
