The big Galaxy Unpacked event is next weekBut if you’re not a fan of foldable phones, Samsung has a selection of old-school flagships on offer. Samsung will double the storage on your Galaxy S24 Ultra or S24+ for free, and there’s trade-in credit to bring the price down further.
In the case of the S24 Ultra, the trade-in credit is up to $750. However, if you don’t have an eligible old phone to send in (or simply want to keep your old unit), you’ll want to check out Best Buy, which is offering the 12/512GB unit for $1,220 instead of $1,300.
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ doesn’t have a 1TB model, so the only “dual storage” option is the 12/512GB version. The trade-in credit limit on that one is set at $600.
And then there’s the smallest of the three, the Samsung Galaxy S24, which gets a modest discount for the 128GB and 256GB models (both with just 8GB of RAM).
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is larger than the S24, but smaller than the S24+ (and doesn’t have an LTPO display like them). It also uses the older Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and maxes out at 256GB of storage, but it’s a fair bit cheaper than the S24 family.
But if you really want to go cheap, you should go for the Samsung Galaxy A35, which retails for $350. This phone will get 4 OS updates and security patches through 2029.
