Google has announced that Gemini Live is now free to use for all Android users via the Gemini app. The service was initially launched on the Pixel 9 series and was hidden behind a subscription service for advanced users on other devices.

Gemini Live is currently only available in English. Billed as a “mobile conversation experience,” Gemini Live is the AI-powered replacement for Google Assistant. You can read more about Gemini Live in our coverage from its announcement.
