The Pixel name was first used by Google in the original Chromebook Pixel in 2013. Although the Chromebook Pixel line was discontinued in 2017, the Pixel name lives on to describe Google’s entire mobile portfolio.

And soon, according to a new rumor, the company will launch a new laptop. This will be very descriptively called Google Pixel Laptop, and the internal codename is reportedly Snowy.

Google is working on a Pixel laptop, reports claims

Google employees are reportedly comparing it to Apple’s MacBook Pro, Dell’s XPS line, the Microsoft Surface Laptop and the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook, so it should be high-end, just like those with build quality aiming for a slice of the premium laptop market .

What’s unclear, and perhaps the most important piece of information about it, is whether it will run Chrome OS or Google’s Windows. We’re assuming it’s most likely the former, but that will undoubtedly stifle its mass appeal.
