It’s a new day, which means it’s time for some new Pixel leaks. Google may have been trying to avoid extensive leaks of its upcoming devices by holding its annual launch event two months earlier in Augustbut that clearly didn’t work at all.

As a sequel to yesterday barrage from Pixel leaksToday we have a bunch of new leaked promo materials, leaked promo videos, and leaked official case studies. So let’s dive in.

Google Pixel 9 Pro cases and official promo materials leaked

The Pixel 9 Pro And Pixel 9 Pro XL‘s official cases have leaked. The first device will get silicone cases in Charcoal, Porcelain, Hazel, Rose, and Aloe. That last one is strange because the Pixel 9 Pro itself isn’t expected to come in Aloe.

A promo video for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL was then released and posted to YouTube, where it has unfortunately since been removed “due to violation of YouTube’s Terms of Service.” The video focused on the fact that the Pixel Pro now comes in two sizes for the first time. It also reaffirmed Google’s continued commitment to software updates, with the company promising seven years of Pixel Feature Drops.

There’s also the quick look at Pixel Screenshots, which makes it easy to search through any screenshot you’ve previously saved. Of course, Google is also boasting about “Pro-level” cameras on the two Pro models, complete with Super Res Zoom Video and a new AI Add Me feature that lets you take two group shots and then merge them together through the magic of AI.

This ensures that everyone is included in the resulting image and that the person taking the photo is not cut out. Google’s Gemini is also getting a lot of screen time, as you might expect in 2024, as AI is the biggest buzzword in the tech world.

Finally, we have another leaked video, this time one that focuses on the ‘vanilla’ Pixel9. At the time of publishing, this one has not yet been removed by YouTube, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually suffers the same fate as the others.

This replaces Add Me with Magic Editor, which uses AI to “reinvent” your shots, and also brags about how the phone has a “sustainable design,” whatever that means. Other than that, it’s pretty similar, as it should be, since it’ll be part of the same ad campaign.
