For years, Android users had to wait for the Play Store to finish installing or updating the apps/games on their devices, as they could only install/update one app/game at a time. However, since April, Google allows users to install two apps at a time, and now Google lets users install or update three apps or games at a time via the Play Store.

If you have more than three pending updates and click ‘Update all’, Play Store will start downloading and installing updates for three apps or games at once. The status of the remaining apps or games will be shown as ‘Pending’.

Google Play Store now lets you install or update up to three apps at once

Google lets users update or install up to three apps at a time, which is appreciated as it saves time by reducing the wait time. Google has yet to make an official announcement about this, but it appears that the internet search giant has started rolling out the feature more broadly. We have it in USA, but not on all devices, which means it’s a server-side switch and just having the latest version of Play Store on your device doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be able to install/update three apps at once.
