Honor is launching the Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 foldable phones on July 12, and the company promises the phones will be thinner than ever.

Today, just hours after images started appearing onlineHonor took matters into its own hands and introduced the Magic V3 with a leather panel on the back that some say is orange in color.

The thin frame gets gold accents and we can imagine that Honor is not joining the hype of implementing a flat frame.

The three cameras on the back are aligned in a triangular formation, similar to the Magic6 Pro, with the periscope lens on the top row and the other two shooters below it. The hump is prominent, and when we get the device for review, we’ll have to see if the sizeable island would compensate for the weight balance.

There are still nine days until the announcement and we expect Honor to reveal more details about the phone. We’re curious to see how big the battery would be and whether the Magic V3 will have a larger capacity than its predecessor – the Magic V2 came with a 5,000mAh Si/C battery in a 4.7mm housing.
