A few months ago we heard that Huawei working on a triple folding device. Huawei hasn’t said anything about it yet, but the company former CEO Richard Yu currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Huawei’s Consumer BGwas spotted with one.
The image below shows Huawei’s tri-folding device with a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera on the left side. The device also has two folds because of two hinges instead of one that we see on regular foldable smartphones like the Huawei Mate X5, aliveAnd Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6.
Tipster Digital chat station said that the device Yu is seen with looks similar to the R&D prototype they saw earlier. The display is expected to be around 10” and the device is said to have a Kirin 9-series chip at the helm.
DCS also said that this tri-fold device would be official for the Mate 70. There were rumors that it would arrive before the end of June, but that didn’t happen. The Mate 70 is Rumors suggest it will launch in China in mid to late Q4 of this year.
