Infinix is expected to launch another phone from its Note 40 series, the Note 40s, to join its Note 40, Note 40 Pro And Note 40 Pro+ brothers or sisters. We even have one extended review of the Note 40 Pro+. The Note 40s surprisingly appeared on the official Infinix website with specs and such.

As expected, the Note 40s has very similar specs to its siblings. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and is curved at the sides. It seems that this is the same panel used in the Note 40 Pro+, which we tested and we were happy with the results.

The more powerful Dimensity 7020 SoC has been replaced by the Helio G99 in the Note 40s and is paired with only one memory configuration: 8GB/256GB.

The camera department also seems to be borrowed from the Pro+, as it offers a 108MP f/1.9 main camera, coupled with a 2MP macro shooter. The front houses a 32MP f/2.2 selfie unit.

The entire hardware is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. That’s more than what the Pro+ offers, but charging speed is limited to just 33W, while the Plus offers a fast 100W.

Other notable features include discreet LED lighting on the back, which Infinix calls Active Halo Design, IP54 splash and dust protection, JBL-tuned stereo speakers and a MagKit case that allows you to use a MagPad wireless charger as the handset is wireless supports charging up to 20W. That’s a rare feature in this price range.
