Nothing sub-brand CMF unveils its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1on July 8. Today, a live image showing off the front of the device has been leaked by a usually reliable source. Not only does the image give us a look at the phone’s display, but it also confirms some long-awaited specs, as it shows off the Android “About Phone” screen, as you can see.
So the CMF Phone 1 runs on Nothing OS 2.6.0 at launch. It’s powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in this particular variant.
The device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
Most of these specs have already been confirmed by Nothing itself through its recent (and ongoing) teaser campaign, except for the battery capacity. Earlier today, the brand also showed us the back of the phone (see below), so with the leaked image above we now have a pretty complete picture.
Nothing appears to sell back covers with extra battery capacity or a wallet for your credit cards (top right), and some with a kickstand (bottom). The SIM ejector tool appears to have a screwdriver head on the other end to help you swap out the backplates. And while we’re on the subject, the removable back cover comes in four colors: black, blue, light green, and orange.
Yes Mr. Wayne, it comes in black… and also in blue, light green and orange. photo.twitter.com/BZFZbfZfu1

We assume Nothing will sell these to people who want to personalize their device, like cases. Only in this case (excuse the pun) it’s not a case, it’s the actual back of the phone.
