It looks like Nothing is sticking to its plan and is now bringing the second beta of Nothing OS 3.0, based on Android 15, to the Nothing Phone (2) And Telephone (2a). According to Nothing’s update calendar, the Telephone (1), Telephone (2a) Plus And CMF phone 1 should receive the beta software sometime next month.
The Nothing OS 3.0 beta 2 brings several improvements and exclusive features to Nothing OS. For example, Shared Widgets allows Nothing owners to communicate with each other via widgets, but the functionality is still quite limited for now and comments are only shown on connected devices.
Quick Settings have been refined with new animations and looks, allowing you to customize the tiles.
The Smart Drawer is now getting smarter, but there is no warning that the software will take some time to customize and categorize all apps.
Camera improvements are also part of the update, with Ultra HDR mode getting a brightness boost, portrait mode getting some polish and stability improved when switching between cameras.
PUBG gets high refresh rate support and can now run at 90fps. Some AI-powered features are being implemented.
Of course, the usual performance improvements and bug fixes are also part of the changelog, but we don’t know what they entail.
