The Red Magic 9S Pro series will be launched on July 3 and today we learned how powerful the new Nubia gaming smartphone will be. The phone comes with a “Leading Version” of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the same overclocked CPU as in the Galaxy S24 Phones.
Today the phone was tested on AnTuTu and the platform published the results on its Weibo page. It showed that the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro+ version can reach almost 2.4 million points, the highest number of points yet for a smartphone.
AnTuTu benchmarks include four components: CPU, GPU, memory speed, and user experience fluidity. The processor is 1x 3.39 GHz Cortex-X4 and 3x 3.1 GHz Cortex-A720 and 2x 2.9 GHz Cortex-A720 and 2x 2.2 GHz Cortex-A520, and the graphics unit is Adreno 750, which we know that it has been amplified to a frequency of 1 GHz.
These both match the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra we tested earlier this year with an AnTuTu v10 result just over 1.8 million.
The whopping $2.37 million difference is because Nubia used a device with 24GB of LPPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. We can also expect the gaming-focused phone to feature an advanced cooling system that will allow the hardware to be stressed for longer without experiencing throttling.
ZTE nubia Red Magic 9 Pro, able to reach 2.1 million on AnTuTu
The ZTE brand has not yet released a Pro+ version of the Red Magic series outside of China.
However, we’re guaranteed to see the Nubia Red Magic 9S Pro go international.
