The new Red Magic 9S Pro is about to debut on July 3 in China and it would bring an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood. However, according to the latest teaser, the design changes are virtually non-existent.
A company representative shared official renders of the Red Magic 9S Pro in four colorways: white, black, and two transparent variants. Official color names for the global market have not yet been announced, as the translation from Chinese sounds quite strange.
In any case, the design itself is hardly different compared to the Red Magic 9 Series. We have the flat metal sides, sharp corners, full-screen experience on the front with an under-display selfie camera, and a flat glass back. Two of the options are transparent, revealing some of the internal hardware.
There are a few changes to the rear elements in particular, but not enough to make a clear distinction between the 9 and the 9S.
