This week, the fourth and final member in the Galaxy S24 series was launched with the S24 FE but the regular Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra are still around and Amazon US has them at a discount.
The vanilla S24 costs $719.99 for the 8/128 GB version. This is still one of the best compact Android flagships around, with a great 6.2 inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 4,000mAh battery with 25W charging.
If you want a bigger screen and better cameras, look no further than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which retails for $1,127.62 in the top-end 12/512GB range. We can’t say much more about the S24 Ultra, it’s one of the best all-rounders on the smartphone market today.
Maybe you don’t like Samsung’s ecosystem and prefer to get your Android from “the source”. The Google Pixel 9 is available for just over $750, down from its usual retail price of $799. It offers the updated Pixel design, the brightest display in its class (2,232 nits), new Gemini AI features, and the signature Pixel camera experience.
Even though the iPhone 16 series has been out for a few weeks, there are still deals on the older 15 series phones on the revamped market. Amazon is offering the 128GB iPhone 15 for just under $600. This is still a great compact phone and will continue to receive software updates for years to come.
If you want a bigger screen, you can get the iPhone 15 Plus for $65 more than the Vanilla 15. Last year’s Plus iPhone delivered one of the best battery life scores in our tests and was only recently surpassed by the new iPhone 16 Plus and 16. ProMax.
