Google is hard at work on the upcoming Android 15 releaseand a number of OEMs have already begun their own beta programs. OnePlus is one of them. Today, OnePlus announced the immediate availability of Android 15 Beta 2 for the OnePlus 12 And OnePlus open.

The instructions for installing it can be found in the source linked below. The company says this is “best suited for developers and other advanced users”, and it doesn’t recommend using it if “you have little to no experience in software development, or if you expect to use the device as a daily driver”. So be warned.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Open get Android 15 Beta 2

The new build brings some improvements over the first beta. The overall stability and performance of the system should be better, and there are fixes for issues with split-screen, Bluetooth compatibility, personal hotspot, camera and some third-party apps.

However, there are still many known issues for both phones (which you can consult via the source below), which once again underlines that this build is not intended for the public. However, it’s good to see that OnePlus is continuously working on Android 15, so hopefully the final release will come quite soon after Google releases it later this year.
