OnePlus is working on the Buds Pro 3, according to a new rumor. The company released the Buds Pro 2 back in February 2023, and followed them up with the non-Pro OnePlus Earbuds 3 in February, and so we thought the “Pro” moniker had simply disappeared from the roster, in a similar fashion to what OnePlus did for its flagship smartphone line.
But apparently that’s not the case, and the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will sit at a premium tier above the Buds 3. The Buds Pro 3 will reportedly come in black, gold, and green, though as always, not all colors may be available in all markets, at least at launch.
OnePlus Earbuds 3
The OnePlus Buds 3 are said to come with EQ, wear detection sensors, Fast Pair support, Dolby Atmos, and OnePlus’ Zen Mode Air. They are also expected to feature dual device connectivity, camera shutter support, and spatial audio.
Unfortunately, no other details have been released, so it’s unclear when these will launch and what they’ll cost – though it stands to reason that they’ll be more expensive than the Buds 3 were when they released. To justify that higher price tag, the Buds Pro 3 could also feature bigger, better sound drivers and (hopefully) improved battery life.
