The Redmi Note 14 Pro (and the Pro+, but we will only refer to the Pro here for brevity) is expected to feature the 200 MP main camera his predecessor. Instead, the Note 14 Pro will come with a 50MP sensor, which will hopefully be larger.
This information comes from prolific Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared some details about the upcoming device on Weibo today. The Redmi Note 14 Pro will also apparently have a “1.5K” resolution display, just like the Note 13 Pro.

The next device in the line will have a “double micro-curved” display according to the machine translation, and in case you were eagerly expecting a periscope zoom camera to appear in the Redmi Note line – keep waiting, that won’t happen this time.
Interestingly, the design of the camera island on the back will change compared to the previous generation, with Redmi opting for a centered one in the shape of an ellipse, which should be similar to what we currently see in ultra-high -end imaging flagships from China. Hopefully the ultrawide will also get an upgrade if the Redmi Note 14 Pro wants to convince someone of its camera qualities.
These are all the details leaked today. The Redmi Note 14 family should arrive in China around September, with a tentative global launch in November. These months are based on model numbers, which are not always completely accurate, so keep that in mind. We’ll be sure to let you know if we find out more about the upcoming Redmi Note 14 Pro.
