The Realme GT6 is a very good phone, judging by last week’s poll, but that price could be an issue. A fair share of voters are interested, although some are waiting for positive reviews to come in. Which can check out our review to help you make a decision (there is also a video review with Will).

Around a quarter of voters find the GT 6 too expensive, pointing to phones like the Poco F6 Pro and OnePlus 12R as alternatives. It seems like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (despite its age) is the preferred option over the 8s Gen 3. But those two offer a slightly different specs mix to the Realme – a better chipset, but no telephoto cameras.

Weekly Survey Results: Realme GT 6 and GT 6T Show Promise, But Price Could Be an Issue

The Realme GT 6T has divided the audience. Half of them just don’t care. The other half are mostly interested, but Realme would do well to keep the price low after the generous early bird offer ends. And some still need convincing (you can check it out our first impressions of the GT6T).

That’s the fate of flagship killers – their audience is very price sensitive as people look for the best bang for their buck. They’re okay with some sacrifices, for example we didn’t hear many complaints about the lack of a metal frame. And you might be surprised by what’s considered important, for example several people brought up AV1 support.

Realme has a strong duo on its hands with the GT 6 and GT 6T. However, it must be planning future discounts and deals for these two as the pre-order rush has come to an end.
