The conference opens with a critical “Regulatory Fireside Chat: Discussing the US. Crypto landscape.” This session features Adrienne Harris, Superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services, and Stuart Alderoty, Chief Legal Officer at Ripple. They will delve into the evolving regulations for crypto in the United States. A response to the lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and her stance on crypto will likely be on the agenda as well.

In light of the coming launch of stablecoinsAnother key session is ‘Exploring the Growing Stablecoin Market’, focusing on how stablecoins are transforming finance and improving transaction efficiency in a digitalizing world. Speakers include Jack McDonald, Senior Vice President of Stablecoins at Ripple; Ivan Soto-Wright, CEO of Moonpay; Bobby Zagotta, Chief Commercial Officer of Bitstamp and CEO of Bitstamp USA; and Nancy Beaton, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Uphold.

“Banking on Blockchain: LATAM’s Path to Digital Transformation” will provide insight into how top banks in Latin America are deploying crypto and blockchain in the changing economic landscape. Pablo Arboleda Niño, Vice President of Analytics, Data, and AI at Grupo Bancolombia, and Pegah Soltani, Head of Payments Product at Ripple, will discuss how financial institutions are embracing innovative technologies to improve service, increase security, and moving towards a symbolic economy.

The afternoon’s keynote will feature a fireside chat with Sheila Bair, former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Founder and Chairman of the Systemic Risk Council, and Monica Long, President of Ripple.

Highlights of day 2

The second day starts with the “Morning Keynote: Strategic Financial Leadership in the Era of Crypto.” Jon Bilich, Chief Financial Officer at Ripple, and Neil DeSilva, former CFO of PayPal Digital Currencies & Remittances, will discuss building a sustainable business using blockchain, navigating partnerships, managing risk and exploring of the future of tokenization and stablecoins.

In ‘Crypto-Centric Banking: US Banks Leaning In’, bank leaders discuss the rise of cryptocurrency banking in the United States. They will explore how traditional banking is being transformed by the integration of crypto services and how these institutions deal with new financial needs. Panelists include Erica Khalili, Chief Legal and Risk Officer and co-founder of Lead Bank; Michael Rose, chairman, CEO and managing director of Metropolitan Capital; Miles Paschini, CEO of FV Bank; Joanie Xie, Managing Director, North America at Ripple; and Nader Souri, managing director at BNY.

“Charting Our Course: A Look Inside Ripple’s Product Roadmap” is a session in which Monica Long and Aaron Slettehaugh, Senior Vice President of Product at Ripple, will unveil the latest product roadmap. They will discuss upcoming innovations, strategic goals and the future direction of the company’s offering.

The conference will conclude with a “Fireside Chat: Dan Morehead & Brad Garlinghouse.” Garlinghouse will be in conversation with Dan Morehead, CEO of Pantera Capital, providing deep insights into the state of the crypto industry and the company’s role in it.
