This is the Samsung Galaxy A06 and it has everything you would ever expect from a phone.

It has a big screen, a high-megapixel main camera, a big battery, a touch of style, and good software support. And all for under $200. It comes in a bare-bones box with a USB cable, so add the cost of a charger if you don’t have one handy.

Up front is a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD with a base resolution of 720x1600px and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Inside is a 12nm MediaTek Helio G85 with 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

Battery capacity is 5,000mAh, while Samsung’s usual 25W charging doesn’t feel that bad at this price point. Finally, there’s a 50MP f/1.8 main camera that will hopefully produce some nice photos and USB-A 1080p video.

In a feat almost never seen before in this segment, the Galaxy A06 comes with a whopping 4 years of security updates and up to 2 OS updates.

The Galaxy A06 has an interesting striped design on the back panel, while the power and volume buttons are placed on the sides on a sort of raised island with a slightly rounded design, unlike the rest of the frame, which is flat.

The stripes on the back reflect the light in different colours, accentuating the yellow colour scheme.
