Since the current generation Avoid Durangoand especially the powerful V8 engines, are nearing the end (a seemingly recurring theme lately), Dodge has another special edition for fans to get their hands onThis one is the 2025 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Hammerhead, and despite the engine, this special edition is quite understated.
It is painted in a colour called Night Moves (turn on the Seger), which is paired with simple silver 20-inch wheels and a matte black hood that is almost indistinguishable from the navy blue at first glance. Even the brake brake calipers are painted black. The only exterior features that really stand out are the SRT and Hellcat badges, which are finished in white or light gray to stand out against the dark background.
What gives the SUV its name is the interior. The seats are finished in exclusive Hammerhead Grey leather with embroidered “Sepia” logos. The rest of the interior is just as dark as the exterior with forged carbon fiber trim and black chrome trim throughout, with the only exception being some silver contrast stitching. It’s also loaded with handy features like wireless phone mirroring and charging, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, a 19-speaker sound system and a sunroof.
The Hammerhead may look modest, but its price tag is not. It starts at $115,315, including the $1,595 destination charge. That makes it slightly more expensive than the Silver Bullet special edition that was revealed about a month ago.
