The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra isn’t officially expected until January, but it’s already been in the news a lot, with multiple rumors about what it will be like rounder than the palm piercing Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Today, one of the main sources for all these rumors, who goes by the name Ice Universe at X, shared another interesting detail. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will apparently have a better screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor, and the display’s aspect ratio will be narrower.
What’s the biggest problem with the S24 Ultra’s design?
The biggest flaw is that the horizontal screen-to-body ratio is too low. Combining these two aspects with the rounded corners makes the S25 Ultra much more comfortable to hold for long periods of time than the S24 Ultra.
Of course, this comes at the expense of recognisability: the S24 Ultra is easy to recognise when you’re on the go thanks to its sharp edges, while the shape of its successor makes it less recognisable from a distance and looks more like an average Android smartphone.
