Oppo launched the Find X8 series and is now preparing the Reno13 midrangers for China. Apparently, the company is also launching an entry-level smartphone called Oppo A5 Pro, as the phone appeared on TENAA.
The phone has model number PKP110 and is listed on the Chinese regulatory website with a photo showing a circular camera island. There will be two shooters: 50MP main and 2MP auxiliary camera, while the selfie snapper will have a 16MP sensor.
Oppo has equipped the A5 Pro with a 6.7” display with Full HD+ resolution and possibly an AMOLED panel with a fingerprint scanner underneath. TENAA doesn’t mention the chipset, but confirms that the A5 Pro will have a 2.5 GHz CPU. In terms of memory, we are looking at 8/12 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage.
The TENAA status of this phone means a launch is imminent. Oppo usually launches its A-series in Southeast Asian markets, so it’s not unlikely that the A5 Pro will go international.
