Samsung is making final preparations for today’s Galaxy Unpacked event, where the new Galaxy S25 series will be presented. The big show will be streamed live, so you can watch the reveal in real time.
You probably already have a pretty good idea of what the upcoming S25 phones will look like. This close to the event, we’re still not 100% sure how it will be structured: will Samsung reveal three or four phones?
For a refresher on what (we think) is to come, check out our What to Expect articles for the Galaxy S25, S25+ And S25 Ultra. We have a similar article for the Galaxy S25 Slim at.
That said, even if Samsung unveils the S25 Slim tomorrow, we don’t expect it to hit pre-order anytime soon. The main trio should go up for pre-order right after the event is over – in fact, if you’re in the US you can already do that reserve a unit and receive $50 Samsung credit.
But the Slim may not arrive in stores for a few months and – depending on where you live – you may never see it in stores. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S25 Slim will go on sale parts of Europe, Asia and Africa and a few other parts of the world, but crucially this will be the case are not available in the US or Canada. We’ll be curious to know why Samsung thinks this is the best strategy for the sleek new model.
Anyway, we’ve heard news about it price increasesbut it may not be as bad as it sounds: they may be limited to higher storage levels. Those are just rumors of course, but if true, the traditional free storage upgrade during the pre-order phase could be a better deal than before.
We will provide detailed coverage of the new Samsung Galaxy S25 flagships, with an overview of all new features, any price changes and more. So take a look at our homepage once the event is over.
