WhatsApp is rolling out voice message transcriptions to its Android beta app. The feature is now part of the WhatsApp Beta (version 2.24. 15. 5) for Android and, as the name suggests, will transcribe your voice messages. The same feature was previously rolled out to iOS users in May of last year.
WhatsApp voice message transcripts are currently supported in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi. More languages will be added soon. Users who opt for the new feature will have to download an additional data package. This will ensure that all message transcripts are generated on the device.
