Samsung has seemingly finalized its Galaxy S25 lineup for January 2025 – expect the usual Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. But in 2026, the phone maker could drop the smaller Galaxy S26. It won’t be a precedent: the company just dropped the vanilla model in this year’s Galaxy Tab S10 lineup and only released the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.
OnePlus and Oppo devices are once again banned from being sold in Germany, but this time it was not Nokia’s fault. This time it is a patent dispute with InterDigital over key patents for 5G and other mobile technologies. OnePlus’ online store in Germany once again has no smartphones for sale, although the other products seem to work fine – so it’s clearly about 5G. It is unclear when OnePlus will be able to sell its devices in Germany again.
